
On the Road with Google at the ALPFA Convention
Our On the Road series is designed to give audiences a front row seat to the unique challenges, intricacies and wins we’ve shared with our clients. Today’s hero needs no introduction: Google is one of the most recognizable names in the world, seeking to make the world a more searchable, accessible and ultimately more inclusive place.
As a longtime partner of the Talent Outreach team, Triple20 has developed a close relationship with the leaders in search, aligning our mission to further theirs: equity and representation in their hiring and career development processes.
Moreover, Google and Triple20 have developed a history exhibiting with the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), a 100,000-member organization that proudly champions the professional development of Latino leaders in the United States. Each summer, ALPFA’s main convention draws thousands of participants for live workshops, career-building sessions and networking opportunities to identify and amplify its most promising and often underrepresented talent.
Over the years, Google and Triple20 have teamed up to curate a welcome lounge just outside the convention hall—a space to facilitate conversation and connection outside of the traditional event schedule or 10’ x 10’ activation. Our shared goal is simple: a space to gather, swap ideas and—if inspiration strikes—learn more about the team at Google.

Year in and year out, we’ve turned Google’s ALPFA exhibit space into something worth the return trip. Crafting a high-end professional setting with real wood, brick and mortar textures and softened LED lighting, our team fuses rental and custom touches to generate a convincing branded environment that comes to life swiftly, seamlessly and cost-effectively. The lightweight build yields lower costs in design, shipping and even storage from event to event.

This year’s booth offered some of our best work yet, lending itself as a meeting ground for mid-career professionals across multiple tech disciplines. With input from our partners at Google, we developed a highly flexible space that transitioned between one-on-ones, small meet-ups and open networking with little to no alteration.
Tipping our caps to all the good that came of it, we’re already looking forward to our next collaboration with Google at ALPFA and beyond.
