Inside FDX Attending Manifest’s Future of Supply Chain

Our On the Road series is designed to give audiences a front row seat to the unique challenges, intricacies and wins we’ve shared with our clients. Today, we’re face to face with fdx, a supply chain optimization platform that’s revolutionizing A to B.

A torchbearer for a smarter supply chain, fdx exists to unify every stage of the customer journey. Blanketed by FedEx’s physical network, fdx describes themselves as the transportation company’s digital twin—a moniker they’ve earned by helping a multitude of companies grow, optimize and streamline supply chains in the short time since their early 2024 launch.

Attending NRF’s Big Show in previous years, the fdx team left with mixed reactions. While the show itself exceeded every expectation, garnering generally positive feedback from onlookers, their experience with prior partners left something to be desired: Inconsistent communication, fuzzy objectives and unpolished work left the team wondering at times if there would even be a booth on the day of—let alone how it would perform.

At NRF 2024, fdx strived to communicate their technological capability above all, benefitting from a prized floor location. 2025 projected a different story: With another year under their belts, the novelty of “FedEx’s tech scionbegan to wane as a messaging framework, and their booth’s location was no longer front and center.

Knowing the right build and the right messaging could put them in a different echelon altogether, fdx enlisted Triple20 to help create an environment that could do more than simply raise eyebrows. With NRF 2025 rapidly approaching, we quickly got to work collaborating on a demonstrative display that’d leave attendees with an indelible impression—one that would turn the product into its own infinitely memorable marketing device.

Our hallmark hybrid approach led to a flexible rental framing system with deeply custom components. By creatively employing prebuilt elements from shelving to storage, we furnished one of the day’s highest touch experiences, seamlessly blending beMatrix frames, custom fabrications, interactive sensors, touch screens, three separate responsive LED lighting systems and more.

The exhibit’s backlit dimensional logo and edge lighting provided natural invitations to passersby, complimented by the brand’s subtler, more sophisticated color palette. With dual touch screens running sample demos from fdx’s online platform, visitors were able to engage with the product itself while holding ample space for organic conversations with the fdx team staffing the halo-lit counters.

Unbusied by the clutter and take-home materials that all too often plague demo booths, both fdx and its prospects were able to engage earnestly with their product, leading to one of our favorite compliments yet from our client contact:

“We have had an insane amount of people stop to take a picture of our booth and asked who we worked with! Your work is seriously impressing people.”

FDX-5

The cutting-edge trade show booth speaks for the results, and the results speak for themselves. We couldn’t prouder of the impact our clients made at Manifest, and we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to champion their tide-shifting platform.
