Honeywell
ISC West 2025
Honeywell International Inc. is a diversified Fortune 500 company with a history spanning over a century. Their products and services are used in diverse industries, ranging from aviation and manufacturing to building management and safety.
The Opportunity
Honeywell came to ISC West 2025 with an ambitious content strategy: showcase their comprehensive fire and security portfolio through 12 distinct product zones, each organized around four industry Megatrends.
The goal was to cement Honeywell’s position as a comprehensive technology leader while creating an intuitive experience that let attendees engage with their innovations on their own terms.
The Challenge
The design had to solve for several competing priorities:
- Strategic visitor flow with extensive product showcase. The space needed to guide attendees through 12 zones while supporting organic exploration. Traffic flow, sightlines, and zone visibility all had to work without feeling forced or cluttered.
- Multiple brand identities under one roof. Honeywell's recent acquisition of LenelS2 meant balancing brand recognition for the new partner alongside four other distinct brands—all while maintaining clear Honeywell parent branding throughout the 3,000-square-foot space.
- Engineering for heavy-duty requirements. Each of the 16 demo kiosks needed to support live product demonstrations, including fire safety equipment weighing over 100 pounds. The kiosks also required integrated monitors and had to stand out on a crowded show floor.
- Complex technology infrastructure. Digital messaging walls, comprehensive networking systems, under-carpet cable management, and back-of-house server equipment all had to integrate seamlessly without disrupting the booth's polished aesthetic.
- Aggressive timeline. Installation had to be completed in just 16 hours to give Honeywell's team two full days for intricate product mounting and integration.
Our Approach
- Circular flow with strategic flexibility. We created a floor plan that supported both guided journeys and self-directed exploration. Attendees could follow the designed path through all 12 zones or navigate directly to areas relevant to their interests.
- Innovative kiosk design that elevated products. We designed dimensional, layered edge-lit kiosks that made the technology the centerpiece of each zone. The aesthetic pushed boundaries while maintaining full functionality for live demos.
- Engineered for structural integrity. Using modular framing systems, we created load-bearing kiosks capable of supporting heavy fire protection equipment—some over 100 pounds—while maintaining a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.
- Cohesive multi-brand hierarchy. Graphics strategically nodded to LenelS2 for brand recognition while maintaining clear hierarchy: Honeywell first, Megatrends second, product messaging third.
- Infrastructure that disappears. We integrated extensive technology—digital walls, networking, cabling, and back-of-house equipment—without cluttering the experience.
- Flawless execution under pressure. We completed installation in the 16-hour window, giving Honeywell's team the full two days they needed for product setup.
The Results
A 50×50 island exhibit that positions Honeywell as the comprehensive fire and security technology leader while maintaining clarity across 12 product zones.
The booth balanced intimacy and impact: each zone felt like its own dedicated showroom while contributing to a cohesive whole. The innovative kiosk design drew attention on the show floor while keeping focus on Honeywell’s technology. And the structural engineering worked exactly as intended—supporting heavy equipment, live demos, and high traffic without compromise.
The exhibit created an environment where Honeywell’s sales team could have meaningful conversations with prospects, showcase their innovations effectively, and reinforce their position as the industry’s most comprehensive technology provider.
