The Opportunity
PMT’s Plastics division needed an exhibit that would not only do justice to their exceptional medical products and expertise, but also support seamless interaction between booth staff and attendees at one of their flagship annual shows.
The goal was creating a space that would elevate product presentation, improve visibility and accessibility across their extensive line, and invite natural exploration—all while reflecting the refined, upscale quality that defines PMT’s work.
The Challenge
- Create intentional, focused product displays. Visibility and accessibility needed significant improvement—ensuring attendees could easily explore PMT's high-quality medical product line while enabling meaningful, uninterrupted conversations with the team. The challenge was making products the hero without overwhelming the space.
- Design for approachability and natural flow. The booth had to visually invite attendees in, creating intuitive movement that encouraged them to enter, engage, and explore. The layout needed to balance open space for circulation with dedicated areas for one-on-one discussions and hands-on product interaction—allowing concurrent engagement without congestion.
- Differentiate through refinement, not flash. The design needed to align with the Plastics team's preference for curvilinear forms while maintaining a polished, upscale feel that reflects the exceptional quality of PMT's offerings. The goal was standing apart from competitors through clarity, thoughtful design, and sophistication—not gimmicks.
Our Approach
- Strategic showcase counters for engagement. Well-lit showcase counters served dual purposes—highlighting PMT's diverse product line while providing dedicated surfaces for live, real-time demonstrations. Built-in drawers kept additional product samples within arm's reach, ensuring staff could respond to any inquiry without leaving the conversation or interrupting the experience.
- Unified backwall display with dramatic lighting. A continuous illuminated band along the top of the backwall created cohesive visual impact while drawing attention to the full spectrum of PMT's product offerings. Products were thoughtfully grouped on minimalist stands that protected delicate items while ensuring clear visibility from multiple angles. Integrated counter storage provided utility without compromising the clean aesthetic.
- Curvilinear architecture for intuitive flow. Sweeping, angled shapes and modern lighting created a refined, high-end look that aligned with PMT's branding while enhancing booth approachability. The curvilinear approach guided attendees organically into the space, creating natural movement from entry to backwall. The open layout supported multiple concurrent conversations and product explorations without congestion—maximizing the team's ability to engage qualified prospects.

The dramatic visual presence immediately distinguished PMT on the show floor. The continuous illuminated product band unified the display while making their expansive capabilities easy to understand at a glance.
Most importantly, the thoughtful layout delivered on the functional goals: attendees could explore products easily, staff could conduct demonstrations seamlessly, and multiple conversations could happen simultaneously without crowding.
